The death sentences of two prisoners convicted of drug-related and murder charges were carried out in Shahrud and Qom prisons.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the execution of two individuals—Gholamreza Pardakhteh and Samir Ghasemi—who had been sentenced to death by the judiciary on charges related to drug offenses and premeditated murder, was carried out in Shahrud and Qom prisons.
Gholamreza Pardakhteh, who had been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court, was executed on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Shahrud Prison.
Samir Ghasemi, who had been arrested on charges of premeditated murder and sentenced to death by a Criminal Court, was executed on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Qom Central Prison.
