Naser Shahlibar, an Iranian Baloch citizen from the city of Bampur, was arrested after being summoned to the Intelligence Office of Zahedan.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Shahlibar, 39, a resident of the village of Dehmir in the Bampur district, was detained on Sunday, February 9, 2025, after being summoned to the Intelligence Office of Zahedan. He was then transferred to the detention center of this security agency.
Reports indicate that two days before his arrest, the Intelligence Office of Zahedan contacted him and requested that he report to the provincial intelligence protection headquarters. On Sunday morning, he traveled to Zahedan with a relative and went to the designated location. After several hours, his companion was told to return home, with the assurance that Shahlibar would be released later.
