Kosar Dehban Zadeh, the sister of political prisoner Meysam Dehban Zadeh, has been in detention for 8 days and is being held at the Intelligence Detention Center in Shiraz.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Kosar Dehban Zadeh, the sister of Meysam Dehban Zadeh, a political prisoner incarcerated in Qezel Hesar Prison, is currently in the custody of Shiraz Intelligence.
Based on statements from an informed source, Ms. Dehban Zadeh was arrested by security forces in Shiraz on September 27, 2024, and transferred to solitary confinement at the Intelligence Detention Center, known as Ward 100.
The source also reported that Ms. Dehban Zadeh’s family has been threatened by security forces to refrain from publicizing her arrest.
Kosar Dehban Zadeh had previously been summoned and interrogated multiple times by Intelligence authorities for supporting and legally pursuing her brother’s case.
As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the charges against her.
Meysam Dehban Zadeh, Kosar’s brother, is a political prisoner serving his sentence in Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
