Mahboob Habibi, a Bahá’í citizen residing in Shiraz, was arrested by security forces on Saturday, September 28, 2024, and transferred to the detention center of the Shiraz Intelligence Department, known as Plaque 100.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the arrest took place in the presence of Mr. Habibi’s two-year-old child. Sources close to the family reported that his wife, Negar Misaghian, is also still in detention.
