Alireza Mojtahedi, Hamed Aryani, and Mohammad Alidoust, three Tehran residents, remain in limbo in Greater Tehran Prison approximately 15 months after their arrest.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, these three residents of Nazi Abad neighborhood in Tehran were arrested in May 2022 in connection with a shared case.
Despite being detained for around 15 months, no court hearings have been held, and these citizens are being held without resolution in Hall 2, Ward 2 of Greater Tehran Prison.
A source close to the family of one of these citizens stated that during interrogations, the reason for their arrest was cited as their participation in the nationwide protests of 2022.
After their arrest, they were initially taken to Ward 209 of Evin Prison and then transferred to Greater Tehran Prison.
The uncertain situation of these three citizens has caused serious concern among their families and human rights activists.
