Idris Dadras, a resident of the village of Sardush in Marivan, has been detained by security forces (for eight days, and there is still no news of his fate. This situation has greatly increased the concern of his family and relatives.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Mr. Dadras has only had one brief phone call with his family during this period. He has also been denied access to a lawyer, and his place of detention is unknown.
On the morning of Tuesday, June 25, 2024, security forces raided Mr. Dadras’s home in the Jihad Square area of Marivan without presenting a judicial warrant and arrested him. Reports indicate that during the arrest, this Iranian Kurd was beaten in front of his family members.
Additionally, Mr. Dadras’s mobile phone was confiscated by the officers. Idris Dadras, the son of Saber, is married and has five children. So far, there is no information about the reasons for his arrest or the charges against him.
