On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Sirus Fathi was arrested by security forces at his home and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, his wife, Sharifeh Mohammadi, a labor activist, has been imprisoned in Lakan Prison in Rasht since December 5, 2023.
