Moein Tofighpour, a 24-year-old Kurdish youth from the village of “Chouman” in the outskirts of Baneh County, was shot and killed by military forces stationed at the Chouman border post on Tuesday May 14th, 2024.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, this Kurdish youth was passing through the area when he was shot directly by military forces without any warning, resulting in his death.
Reports indicate that Moein Tofighpour, did not have any goods or cargo with him.
The body of this youth has been transferred to Baneh Hospital, but has not yet been handed over to his family.
Moein Tofighpour, was 24 years old and married.
