A Kurdish merchant named Mohammad Ghaderi lost his life, as a result of direct shooting by military forces at the border of Baneh on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the shooting of this border trader occurred at the “Galesoreh” border of Baneh County. It is reported that the military forces shot at Mohammad Ghaderi, a resident of the “Showi” village, without any prior warning.
Official authorities have not yet commented on this matter, and the body of this citizen has not been handed over to his family.
Mohammad Ghaderi was married and had three children.
It is still unclear what the reason for shooting Mohammad Ghaderi was. Some sources believe that he was targeted under suspicion of smuggling.
In recent years, numerous incidents of this nature have occurred, resulting in the killing or injuring of Kurdish traders and merchants.
