According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024, Ms. Shakarami wrote on her Instagram: “My daughter Aida was arrested by Tehran’s security police for not observing the mandatory hijab. She remains in detention.”
