Security authorities detained a 17-year-old Baloch child in Ashar without presenting a judicial order and transferred him to an undisclosed location.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Thursday March 7, 2024, Mohammad Karim Zayi, son of Idris, 17 years old and resident of Ashar, was arrested by intelligence forces without presenting a judicial order.
The intelligence agency has cited shooting towards the Ashar outpost as the reason for the detention of this child.
However, investigations by the Baloch Activists Campaign indicate that the shooting on the evening of January 18, 2024, around the Ashar outpost was carried out by the Revolutionary Guards forces.
The unlawful detention of Mohammad Karim Zayi is a clear violation of human rights and a prominent example of injustice against children.”
