ccording to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Rahman Zahmatkesh, a resident of a villages in Talesh County, was detained by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location on Thursday, February 15th, 2024.
A reliable source close to the family of this citizen confirmed the news of his arrest, stating: “Intelligence agents of the Revolutionary Guards arrested Mr. Zahmatkesh at his father’s home in the village of Kharjgil, a suburb of Talesh.”
The informed source added: “Mr. Zahmatkesh was previously arrested during last year’s nationwide protests. Since his arrest, he has had no contact with his family.”
