According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Azad Bandari, a married man with three children from Naqdeh, was arrested by the security forces and taken to an unknown location on the morning of Friday, January 19TH, 2024.
According to an informed source, the security forces arrested this citizen in his house at four o’clock in the morning on Friday without a judicial warrant and with force and violence.
This informed source added: So far, the follow-ups of this citizen’s family to find out about his fate have been unsuccessful.
As of writing this report, there is no information about the arresting institution, the place of detention or the charges against this citizen.
Azad Bandari’s arrest follows the wave of widespread arrests of Iranian Kurd in Iran. In recent months, dozens of Iranian Kurd have been arrested in different cities of Iran.
