According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Ismail Gerami, a trade union activist, was arrested by the security forces in today’s protest rally Tuesday November 21st, 2023.
An informed source noted, Ismail Gerami, a trade union activist, was released from Rajaee Shahr Prison in Karaj in February 2023. He was arrested today again during protest rally in front of the Ministry of Labor.
In April 2022, he was arrested after participating in the gatherings of retirees. His house in Tehran was raided by Tharullah IRGC agents for his arrest and he was sentenced to five years in prison during an unfair trial.
