The death sentence of a prisoner named Alireza Partoui, who was sentenced to self-retribution (execution) on the charge of “intentional murder”, was performed in Kermanshah Central Prison.
Earlier, the news of the execution of another prisoner was announced in Kermanshah on the same day.
With this execution, the number of executions on Wednesday in Kermanshah increased to two.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the death sentence of a man was executed in Kermanshah Central Prison on Wednesday November 8th, 2023.
This prisoner, whose identity has been confirmed as Alireza Partoui, a resident of Sanghar city in Kermanshah province, was sentenced to self-retribution on the charge of “intentional murder”.
Earlier, the news of the execution of another prisoner named Farhad Aghaei was published in Kermanshah on this day. So, the number of executions in this prison increased to two on Wednesday.
The execution of these two prisoners has not been announced by the Iranian media or official sources as of writing this news.
The lack of grading for intentional homicide in Iran causes any type of murder to result in a death sentence, regardless of the severity, weakness, and motivation of the accused.
