Nilufar Mirzaei, an Al-Zahra University graphic arts student, who was arrested at Armita Ground’s funeral, was released on bail.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Nilufar Mirzaei, an Al-Zahra University graphic arts student, was released on bail on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.
Mrs. Mirzaei was previously sentenced to exile to Yazd University by the order of the disciplinary committee.
According to the report of the united students, during the delivery of this order, Nilufar Mirzaei was prevented from entering the university and the order was delivered verbally at the guard gate.
This student was previously sentenced in absentia to two semesters of suspension from education without her presence. Following an appeal to the central committee of the Ministry of Science, this sentence was increased to exile.
Ms. Mirzaei was arrested by security forces at the university in November of last year and was taken to Evin prison, but she was released from prison in February of last year.
