The Department of Supervision of Public Places of the Police Force in Gilan Province sealed 78 business units. Ali Heydarkhah, head of the Department of Supervision of Public Places of the Police Force Command, says: “Due to non-observance of Islamic customs, these businesses have been sealed.”
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Wednesday May 17th, 2023, Colonel Ali Heydarkhah, the head of the Public Places Supervision Department of the Police Command of Gilan province, sealed off 78 business in Anzali Free Trade Zone due to (non-observance of Islamic affairs) and laws and the relevant regulations.
The head of the Public Places Supervision Department of Gilan Police Command said: “In order to monitor the implementation of (laws) related to the activities of businesses in the market, the control and inspection plan has been specially placed on the agenda of the officers of the Public Places Supervision Department.”
He also explained: “In this regard, while warning 300 businesses out of 162 businesses, 78 violating businesses in Anzali Free Trade Zone were closed due to non-compliance with Islamic affairs and relevant laws and regulations.” / Quoted from Mehr
