The security forces arrested Ruhollah Heydari and took him to an unknown place. There is still no information about the alleged accusations against him.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Ruhollah Heydari, a resident of Qazvin province and brother of Javad Heydari, who died in the protests of 2022, was arrested by the security forces on the morning of Tuesday, April 4th, 2023.
Fatemeh Heydari, Ruhollah Heydari’s sister, while announcing this news, wrote on her personal page: “After killing my brother Javad, arresting my brothers Mohammad, Hojjat and Mustafa for several weeks, firing me from work, issuing arrest warrants for other family members and… this morning, Ruhollah, my other brother has been arrested without any reason and they are not responding to the family. But we will not stop asking for justice.”
As of writing this report, there is no exact information about the exact reason for the arrest, the legal countermeasures of the charges and the whereabouts of Ruhollah Heydari.
It is necessary to mention that Javad Heydari died on the September 22nd, 2022, during the nationwide protests that were also held in Qazvin city, after being directly shot by the security forces.
