According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, quoting Fars, today, Thursday, April 21, 2022, Morteza Aboutalebi, the head of FATA police in Yazd province, reported the arrest of cyberspace activist on charges of publishing material that he allegedly insulted sacred things in cyberspace.
Explaining the news, the Yazd police chief claimed: “The person has insulted the holy places by changing the religious images and the sound of the film.”
The security official in Yazd province noted: “This person was taken to the FATA police headquarters after his arrest and interrogated.”
The report does not mention the identity or other charges of the cyber activist.
