Alieh Eghdam Doust, a labor activist, has been in the women’s ward of Evin Prison for two months, due to her inability to provide the bail money. The charge against Ms. Eghdam Doust is propaganda against the regime.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, as of Friday, April 8th, 2022, Alieh Eghdam Doust, 63 and a labor activist, after more than two months of detention, is still in the women’s ward of Evin Prison,
According to this report, Ms. Eghdam Doust continued to be detained despite the issue of the bail due to her inability to secure the bail amount.
Last month, Ramin Safarnia, a lawyer, published a note on his personal page announcing the issuance of a 100 million Toman bail for this labor activist.
This labor activist was arrested by security forces in Fooman on Monday, February 7th, 2022. The labor activist was arrested at 9 am in her house by Branch 2 of the Fooman Prosecutor’s Office on behalf of the Evin Holy Court.
Alieh Eghdam Doust has been charged with propaganda against the regime.
