Shaban Mohammadi, a member of the Kurdistan Teachers’ Union, Marivan, was temporarily released from Marivan Prison on 500 million Tomans bail.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Shaban Mohammadi, a member of the Marivan Kurdistan Teachers’ Union, was released on bail from Marivan Prison on Thursday, February 24th, 2022.
According to this report, this teacher union activist has been temporarily released from Marivan prison on 500 million Tomans bail pending his trial.
Mr. Mohammadi was transferred from the Sanandaj Intelligence Detention Center to Marivan Prison on Tuesday February 22nd, 2022.
The teachers’ union activist was denied access to a lawyer and family visits during his detention.
On Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, the Marivan Intelligence Agency announced in response to the investigation into the fate of Shaban Mohammadi that he had been transferred to the Sanandaj Intelligence Detention Center.
The arrest of this teacher union activist was carried out by the security forces on the order of the prosecutor and the investigator of Branch 1 of Marivan.
On Sunday, January 30th, 2022, Shaban Mohammadi, a member of the Marivan Kurdistan Teachers’ Union, was arrested by security forces.
