Two Iranian Kurds from the city of Oshnoyeh in West Azerbaijan Province were detained by Revolutionary Guards intelligence forces and taken to an unknown location.
Omid Taei, a former political prisoner and a residence of Oshnoyeh, was arrested by the Revolutionary Guards’ intelligence forces in the city and taken to an unknown location on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021.
Jafar Hassanpour, a 42-year-old from the village of Kani Rash in the Oshnoyeh district, was arrested on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021, after being summoned to the IRGC in this city.
It is said that Omid Taei was arrested by the intelligence services in 2018 and sentenced to 30 months in prison and released after two years.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, quoted by Henegav, the reasons for the detention and whereabouts of the two Iranian Kurds are unknown,
