The passport of Ramin Hossein Panahi’s parents is still confiscated by the Ministry of Intelligence and they are also banned from leaving the country for 5 years.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, the passports of Mohammad Hossein Panahi and Sharafat Zarini (nanny Sharifa), the parents of Ramin Hossein Panahi, the executed Iranian Kurd political prisoner, remain in the Ministry of Intelligence hand. Ramin’s Parents are also banned from leaving the country for five years.
Earlier in August 2020, the passport of Ramin Hossein Panahi’s parents was confiscated by order of the Sanandaj Intelligence Office.
The pressure on the family of Ramin Hossein Panahi, the executed Iranian Kurd political prisoner, continues. Prior to this in May 2020, Ramin Hossein Panahi’s sister, Parvaneh Hossein Panahi, was summoned to the Sanandaj Intelligence Office and interrogated.
It was said that Parvaneh Hossein Panahi had been summoned due to her investigation into the burial place of his brother Ramin Hossein Panahi.
Amjad Hossein Panahi, Ramin Hossein Panahi’s brother, announced the confiscation of his parents passport and the ban on his parents leaving the country and said: “Yesterday, my parents went to the relevant office to get back their passports, which were confiscated last year, and over there they were told that not only the passports will not be returned by order of the Sanandaj Intelligence Office, but also under a new order, they will be banned from leaving the country for five years.”
Ramin Hossein Panahi, 24, along with Zanyar Moradi, 30, and Loghman Moradi, 32, three Kurdish political prisoners, were executed in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj at dawn on Saturday, September 8th, 2018.
Despite the pursuit of the families of the three executed prisoners, their families still have
no information about the fate of the body and the burial place of their children.
