A Baluch citizen died in Zahedan Hospital after being shot by a gunman due to the negligence of judicial authorities and law enforcement officials.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Sunday, July 19th, 2020, a Baluch citizen named “Ismail Tutarzehi “, the son of Mohammad from Zahedan, died of an infection caused by a bullet wound to the leg by military forces in Zahedan Hospital.
Mr. Tutarzehi is said to have been shot and wounded by direct fire from law enforcement officers about a month ago because he was carrying a baby formula load. He was in in a coma for ten days
The Baluch Activists Campaign, quoting local sources, reported that he was shot by police and after coming out of a coma, he was taken from Zahedan Hospital to the city prison.
According to the report, due to his serious condition in prison and the lack of attention from judicial and military officials, his wound became infected and as his condition worsened, he was taken to the hospital again on July 17th, 2020.
Due to the lack of timely transfer of Mr. Tutarzehi to the hospital and the progression of the infection, the doctors were not able to take appropriate action. As a result, Ismail Tutarzehi dies on July 19th, 2020.
Ismail Tutarzehi is married and has one child
