Yesterday, two Sunni activists from Mahabad were arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, security forces detained two Sunni activists and taken them to an unknown location on May 11th, 2020.
The identities of these people, Mohammad Ali Lashkari and Saeed Rashidi, have been confirmed by the campaign.
Informed sources told Campaign: “At 9 o’clock in the morning, the officers of the 11th police station called and summoned Saeed Rashidi on the pretext that he had a plaintiff, but after an hour, the security officers took him to an unknown location. him and the person in charge of the force. In response to his family’s question, the responsible person said that he was unaware of Saeed’s situation.
It was also reported that at 9 o’clock in the morning of the same day, two security officers in two vehicles arrested “Mohammad Ali Lashkari” at his workplace and handcuffed him and taken to an unknown location.
Despite their family and relative’s follow-up with authority, the reasons for the arrest of these two Sunni citizens have not been identified,
