Sayed Ali Mousavi, a resident of Ahwaz who was arrested by intelligence agents in July 2018, was released temporarily from Ahwaz prison (Shiban) on bail.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Sayed Ali Mousavi, residence of Alavi street, was released from Ahwaz prison (Shiban) on bail on December 15th, 2019.
According to a report, Sayed Ali Mousavi, along with Mohammad Sawari and Reza Sawari, from the Alavi street in Ahwaz, were arrested by the Revolutionary Guard Intelligence forces on charges of setting fire to one the bank’s branches, on July 27th, 2018. After four months of detention at the Revolutionary Guard Intelligence detention center, they were transferred to Ahwaz central prison.
They were reportedly subjected to “severe physical and psychological torture” at the Revolutionary Guard Intelligence detention center for obtaining forced confessions.
