A Baluchi young man from Lashar area was killed by the security forces direct firing in Sistan and Baluchistan province, known as Muradad.
According to a report released on the Baluch activists’ website, on Monday, November 4th, 2019, a Baluch resident named Nasser Javshiri was killed near Saifabad-Lashar intersection because of the direct firing of security forces (Mersad).
According to sources familiar with the Baloch campaign: “At 5:30 PM on Monday, November 4th, 2019, while Nasser Javshiri was carrying a few gallons of fuel alone, was killed by a direct firing at Mersad police forces near Saifabad-Lashar intersection, not far from the Sermich Bridge.”
Earlier, Molawi Abdulsamad Sadati, a Sunni’s Friday Pray Imam of the Saravan, in an open letter to Ahmad Ali Mohebati, the governor of Sistan and Baluchistan, demanded an investigation into the Baluch fuel porters killing.
Part of the letter reads, “Fuel transporter/porter is not a job, but in the absence of a job they are forced to do so instead of stealing and committing other abuses. They have no choice but to do this work. The organized fuel mafia has not been attacked or questioned so far but most of the poor and desperate people have. “For those who are the breadwinners of the family and their only capital is a self-low-car model, are these attached in lack of jobs, fairness and justice?”
According to Baluch activists, killing of the fuel porters continue in Sistan and Baluchistan despite protests by parliamentarians, scholars and even people on the street.
