One of the detained teachers and several labor were released from the Qarchak Prison in Varamin and Fshafvyh Prison.
On Sunday, May 5th, 2019, the Free Workers Union of Iran announced the release of seven activists arrested on the International Labor Day (May 1st, 2019). Mr. Hadi Soleimani, member of the Free Workers’ Union of Iran, Vahid Fereydouni, Nima Vijeh, Naser Moharamzadeh and Qasem Khaloui were released from Tehran’s Grand Prison. Ms. Hossni Vijeh and Samira Amiri were released from the Qarchak Prison in Varamin.
According to another new report, quoted from the Channel of the Council for the Coordination of Iranian Cultural Organizations, Rasoul Bodaghi, a teacher and a trade union activist who was arrested at a teacher gathering on May 2nd, 2019, was released from the Grand Prison of Tehran (Fshafvyh Prison).
Earlier on Saturday, May 4th, 2019, 14 of the detainees at the International Labor Day were released from the prisons of Qarchak in Varamin and Fshafvyh Prison.
Mehdi Fakhri, Mahan Salehi, Kamyar Fakour, Mardas Taheri, Mohammad Akhlaghi, Ali Yavari, Mohammad Ali Aslaghi, Afshin Mirzakhani, Soheil Khodabakhsh, Mohammad Reza Panahi and Mohammad Adlyifar, were released from Grand Prison of Tehran on bail, on Saturday night, May 4th, 2019.
According to the report, on the same night, Anisha Asadollahi, Zahra Tehrani, and Leila Naseri Vandi were released from the Qarchak prison in Varamin, These women were arrested on the International Labor Day in front of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
