Hakimeh Ahmadi, a civil activist and resident of Marand that was arrested on October 18th, 2018, and taken to the detention center of the city’s intelligence office, has been detained for more than three months with no status update.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Hakimeh Ahmadi, a civil activist from Marand, continues to be held at the Detention Center, despite being detained for four months detention.
Hakimeh Ahmadi, an Azerbaijani Turkish activist, was arrested by security forces in the city of Marand on October 18th, 2018. She was transferred to the hospital following a raid at the detention center, leading to her broken ribs and fingers. She was transferred back from the hospital to the Marand Intelligence Office detention center on November 2nd, 2018.
On Thursday, October 18th, 2018, without any judicial decree and after entering the house, the officers seized some personal belongings, including all the existing SIM cards, two laptops, and three mobile phones.
On Tuesday, October 30th, 2018, engineer Gholamreza Ghorbani, Hakimeh Ahmadi’s husband, reported on his wife’s degradation and injury by security forces in a detention center in a video with Azerbaijani Turkish language on social networks.
In this video, it was said that Ms. Hakimeh Ahmadi was injured and taken to the hospital for two broken ribs and fingers.
Hakimeh Ahmadi was arrested by security forces in September 2018, and was temporarily released on a one million Tomans bail after three days.
