Bapir Barzeh, a Kurdish citizen from Chianhe village in western Azerbaijan, was arrested yesterday by Piranshahr Revolutionary Guard Intelligence forces.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Monday, December 10th, 2018, Bapir Barzeh, a resident from Chianhe village in western Azerbaijan, was arrested by Piranshahr Revolutionary Guard Intelligence forces at his home and transferred to an unknown location.
According to informed sources, security officials without a court order entered Mr. Barzeh‘s house and arrested him after a full house search.
There is no detailed information on the reasons for the detention and charges against the him, but according to some of Bapir’s closers, security forces arrested him on charges of “cooperating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government.”
