On Monday morning, October 15th, 2018, two prisoners were executed on charges of murder in Shahr-e-Kord Prison.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Saturday, October 15th, 2018, two prisoners were executed in Shahr-e-Kord Prison (Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province).
According to some Human Rights Organizations in Iran, the identity of the prisoners was reported as Saleh Dehkordi, 38 and married, and Yarali Nouri.
The executions of these prisoners have not yet been announced by the Iran media.
Since the beginning of the current year, most of the executions that have been recorded or the charges of murder happened in Karaj Rajaee Shahr Prison.
According to the Iran Human Rights Organization’s statistics unit, 240 executions were executed out of 517 executions in 2017 on charges of murder. The lack of grading for deliberate murder in Iran makes any kind of crime, regardless of the intensity and weakness of the accused, results in the death sentence.
