Two activists, Mozaffar Salehnia and Khalid Husseini, were arrested by security agents in Sanandaj and transferred to an unknown location. Meanwhile, another activist, Ebrahimzadeh, who was arrested in July this year, remains detained with undefined status.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, two labor activists residing in Sanandaj province were arrested by security forces on September 4th, 2018.
An informant source told the campaign, “Today, the security forces arrested Mozaffar Salehnia, a member of the board of directors of the Free Trade Union of Iran and Khalid Husseini, a labor activist and transferred them to an unknown location.”
There is still no information available on the reasons for the arrest nor the charges for these two activists.
Also, in other news, more than a month has passed and still there is no news about Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, another detained labor activist.
Behnam Ebrahimzadeh, a labor activist arrested by security forces in Kermanshah on July 2018, and was transferred to the Revolutionary Guards Corps detention center.
This labor activist was born in 1977 in the city of Oshnoia, and has been arrested and detained several times by security forces since 2008.
