Mamosta Amin Ghaysari, Friday’s Prayer and Congregation Imam of one of Baneh villages was arrested by the security forces. There is still no information about the reasons for the for the arrest of this Sunni cleric.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, on Tuesday 26 May 1402, Mamosta Amin Ghaysari, Friday’s Prayer and Congregation Imam of “Zarav Alia” village of Baneh was arrested by the security forces.
An informed source said: This Kurdish cleric along with his family was returning from Baneh to “Zarav Alia” village and was arrested by the security forces without presenting a court order.
This informed source added: This Kurdish cleric has been transferred to one of Sanandaj’s security detention centers for interrogation.
This informed source stated: The security forces have obtained a written commitment from the followers of this cleric to leave the city of Baneh.
This informed source said: Residents of the village of ” Zarav Alia” have approached the security institutions in order to know about the situation of Mamosta Amin, but they have not been given a clear answer.
As of publication of this news, there is no information about the reason for the arrest and the charges against Mamosta Amin.
