According to this report, Mr. Houshangi has been on a hunger strike in protest to the Revolutionary Guards’ opposition to his provisional release, despite a 2 billion toman bail, since February 22nd, 2022.
In mid-February, the First Branch of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court announced to the Kurdish citizen’s family that his temporary detention had been reduced to two billion tomans bail.
