The sentence of 74 lashes was carried out for “Rasoul Talib Moghadam”, a member of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, Then, he was transferred to Evin Prison quarantine to serve his sentence.
According to the Campaign for Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, quoted by the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, on Monday, June 1st, 2020, Rasoul Talib Moghadam, a member of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, who repeatedly was called and threatened the bailiff, went to the Evin Judgment Enforcement Branch. After his sentence of 74 lashes was carried out, despite his poor physical condition, the Evin Prosecutor’s Office transferred him to the Evin Prison quarantine for serving his two years prison sentence.
Rasoul Talib Moghadam, a member of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, was arrested by security forces during the International Workers’ Day celebrations in front of the Islamic Consultative Assembly on May 1, 2019. He was released from Evin Prison and welcomed by a number of his colleagues on Saturday, May 11th, 2019.
Rasoul Talib Moghadam, one of the detainees on International Workers’ Day in 2019, was sentenced to 74 lashes, two years in exile in South Khorasan, and two years band from membership in any group and the use of mobile phones by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Afshari.
